I was referred to David from Mind Myself during one of the darkest periods of my life, when suicidal thoughts had taken hold, culminating in a night where I threatened my own life.

From the very beginning, David worked closely with me, helping me navigate my emotions, thoughts, and behaviours—many of which had become detrimental to my own well-being and to my relationships with those around me.

Throughout our time together, he has guided me toward a deeper understanding of my emotional avoidance and the distance I had created within my family and personal relationships.

Thanks to this counselling, I now have a stronger sense of self-worth and a greater appreciation of what I mean to others. I feel calmer, more content, and increasingly hopeful about the future—both for myself and my relationships with my family and friends.
