We are born to experience life, to learn and grow as a human being

Service Description

From birth, we are always learning about our environment, and almost immediately start being educated and conditioned by others. We absorb the experiences of our earliest interactions, particularly with our parents and families – their moods, tones of voice, facial expressions, their attitudes and their behaviours – whether they're directed towards us or not. Usually, we are guided with simple rules (e.g. thou shalt not kill; do unto others as you would have them do unto you, etc), chided for "bad" behaviour, and recognised for "good" behaviour. We tell ourselves a story to make sense of each situation we experience; a combination of what we sense, what we believe, and what we feel and think as a consequence... Over time, these processes become hard-wired and just happen by themselves. Life simply happens. Every day, our mind and body operate according to our well-worn practices, our habits. We hardly think about anything we do. When we do think about something, we seldom question the underlying beliefs that rule our worldview and patterns of behaviour. At some point, something happens – we become conscious that the person we're being on the outside, doesn't align with what we really care about, and how we're actually feeling on the inside... This is a fork-in-the-road moment... Most people take the low road, the path of least resistance. They avoid the effort and uncertainty of looking inwards , but often pay the price of increasing disenchantment, frustration and/or bitterness over the course of their life – a price that can include a toll on their physical and emotional health, and on their relationships. Taking the high-road – the decision to question, change and grow; to develop your self, takes consciousness and courage. It's a decision to accept the challenge; to look within and start to ask yourself questions, to search your feelings, to consciously make choices, observe your personal processes and the resultant outcomes in your life. Growing as a person is an ongoing, fulfilling journey of increasingly understanding yourself, others and the world around you... and enjoying a happier, healthier, more complete life as a consequence!
